ACROS Fukuoka – A Fabulous Building with a Green Roof

“ACROS Fukuoka”, a marvelous building with a huge terraced green roof is located at Fukuoka City in Japan. The garden terraces containing around 35,000 plants representing 76 species, is about 60 meters above the ground level. A semicircular atrium and the triangular lobby in the center of the building that is contrast to the greenery, consists of symphony hall, offices and shops.
This fabulous building was designed by the architects, Emilio Ambasz & Associates, to preserve the green space in the city center as much as possible.
