Those are gorgeous, I cannot fathom words to describe it.
Some of these are shopped. The others are good, though.
Whoever is riding that horse is riding the horse too hard and yanking on its mouth way too much. Looks like a troubled hand riding a troubled horse.
it looks to me more like the horse isn’t doing what it’s being asked. maybe the rider isn’t asking right, but the horse’s head should be tucked under a bit more to minimize the pull from the reins. i think the horse was just having a bad day. or maybe just a bad moment.
I love that horse picture! I wish I could take pictures like that. Great site keep up the good work!
Awesome site – beautifully taken pictures! The horse one is a perfect shot full of emotion!
Beautiful! The photographer is awsome! The Horse appears to be winding down from quite a work out (hot and sweaty), The rider was not able to relax enough on the reins and the horse was over corrected! This horse should have been much more relaxed and should have been tucked in at the poll correctly!
It seems like this rider was scared to death and may have had more horse than he or she knew what to do with! (Been there, Done that, Yada Yada yada…) I am not surre the breed, but looks like it was a Saddlebred or some sort of gaited horse, can’t really tell from just a head shot, Maybe the rider was Hunt Seat or Saddleseat? Who knows? Would like to see more….
The photographer of the horse picture is Tim Flach, if anyone’s wondering. :)
I just wanted you to know i like the fox 1!
Thats really gorgeous and brilliant shots !!!
Very good composition capturing the moment and atmosphere.
The big cat has got some serious stalking going on…
Is there a filter that stops the 8 year olds from saying “It wuz ’shopped’”?
Getting soooo sick of that.
Magnificent!
It brings back memories. It is, in some ways, almost like being there.
A rare treasure.
What magnificent pictures! I love animals and you have a way of catching the emotion and essence of the animal. How do you do this?
but really… why was the mouth so restrained? It looks like a young horse with little training? The world wants to know!
I’m not surprised that’s a Tim Flach shot with the horse; he does some really interesting work that tends to be pretty unique. It’s a typical type of shot for him.
But I feel sorry for the horse…obviously he’s been working and is continuing to be. At least he’s only got a D-ring in, I always hate to see a bit pulled like that, but a snaffle isn’t as bad as it could be.
My guess…maybe a horse being pulled up from a gallop? It would explain the tight reins, head position, tension in the neck, and his mane going straight back. He’s throwing his weight back in an attempt to slow down quickly, like the rider is asking him to do (presumably, with the bit like that).
Fabulous, gorgeous photos! “A visual display for the senses.”
I loved all of the photos…they could all win a prize for best pic, I think.
Such marvelous pics!! I am enjoying looking at all you havbe done. I have some of your characters coming and going through my yard. I think this is a great hobby. Thanks for sharing.
That giraffe was amazingly adorable… so are the foxes. Those pictures were all amazing
WTF with that evil worm!!! cool
Some awesome pics of beautiful subjects. You’ve got a great eye for a good shot.
Keep up the good work!
Jeff
Hey, this is great. I’m speechless.
By the way, “cram”, that catterpillars head (or as so it seems) is its posterior.
hello my name is jade i would like to say your pictures are really nice and the animals in it are very adorable and cute.
I think these images are awesome
Nothing spectacular.
I think some of these shots are awful..
Most are okay, but I’ve seen better.
The one of the worm/catapillar, horse, bird, and giraffe were horrible, I mean, wtf. And that poor horse looks so strained.
And don’t say anything like “you dont appreciate real art” because thats crap :) art is different for everyone, and everyone has a different point of view.
these pictures are just great.. love ‘em
Your point of view sucks, Meg. :(
The bondage of the horse is sad.
send this to me at my email address
Nice photographs, plz add other wild, reptiles and small animals photographs and mail me.
ok. so..the pictures are good.
BUT that horse should not look like that no matter what is happening. if it it is being bad then the rider should not have braced against it…bracing never works. the rider should have held one hand stationary and then pulled&given with the other hand. ugh. this kind of thing should NOT happen…
THERE’S IS NOTHING MORE PRECIOUS THAN PICTURES OF ANIMALS.MY FAVORITE….:)
