In the world today, there are many rumors and discussions coming out on the topic “World will end on 2012?” which indeed are making some part of the public, who believe in this type of things get worried. But, finally today ‘NASA’ has put up a full stop to all these rumors and different sayings of the people on the topic.

There are many rumors which have been fast spread through media to the people and even a tragedian movie titled, ‘2012’ have also been produced based on the predictions of Mayan calendar. Mayan theory is based on calendar, which display a series of zeros on 21st December, 2012. Also rumor have been spread through the internet that a 10th planet named ‘Nibru’ located at the edge of the solar system collides and smashes into the Earth within 3 years.

Image of Mayan Calendar

With this so many worried people started inquiring about this from which one of the reports says that over 1,000 inquiries on this topic have been received by Dr David Morrison, senior scientist at NASA’s Astrobiology Institute. In the inquiries there are also teenagers who don’t want to see the end of the world so they want to end their lives.

Finally, if Nibru did come close to the Earth and if the collision between Earth and Nibru is only tree years away then thousands of astronomers and professionals would also have it by now but this didn’t happen none of them have seen it till date and none of them were taking this issue serious. So, with all this NASA informs the people that nothing would happen and people need not worry hearing all this rumors and NASA expresses a strong disapproval on film producers who are taking on a movie that suggests world will come to an end in 2012.

General

On hot days, close the blinds on the windows to keep the heat out. On cool days keep them open, to let the heat in.

Install dimmer switches so that you are only using as much light as you need.

Replace regular night lights with LED night lights.

Take advantage of “Off-Peak Rates,” check to see if your electric company offers cheaper electric rates during “off-peak” hours. If so, do your laundry, dishes, etc. during this time to save some money.

Heating and Cooling

Set your thermostat a few degrees lower in the winter and a few degrees higher in the summer, to keep your Heating/AC Unit running less.

Install a digital thermostat that will give you better control and accuracy of the temperature in your home

Replace air filters regularly.

Caulk around windows and doors to seal cracks.

Install ceiling fans to keep the air circulating in your home and your air conditioner won’t have to work as hard.

Get a programmable thermostat. Set it to run less when you are at work or away.

Attic

Proper attic ventilation is necessary for both heating and cooling efficiency of your home. Consider installing an attic fan to lower the attic temperature.

Close foundation/crawl space vents in the winter and open them in the summer.

Visually inspect your duct system in the crawl space or attic of your home to see if air is escaping. Repair air leaks with quality UL metal tape or mastic sealant.

Bathroom

Take shorter showers and install water-saving shower heads.

Turn off faucets tightly and fix leaky faucets promptly.

A leak of one drop per second wastes more than 250 gallons of water a month and the energy used to heat it.

Marine fish aquarium is a place that creates a refreshing and relaxing mood. It’s my personal experience during my journey underwater. As I stepped in Sharjah Aquarium, I enjoyed the nice little walk through the aquarium by watching the rare species of sea fishes in the rock pools, lagoons, coral reefs and mangroves. It’s an experience of lifetime where I could see a variety of aquatic animals like black tip reef shark, stingray, puffer fish, star fish, lion fish, pretty purple climber crab, sea turtles, jelly fish, eel, shells and varieties of exotic tropical fish. Thanks to the authorities who have shown keen interest in bringing the world’s aqua life under one roof. Chill out while watching these aquatic creatures of deep sea.

It is a giant herb that rows to a height of around 10-20 feet and consists of a false trunk made up of the sheaths of the long leaves that spread out from the top of the tree. The leaves can be up to approximately 10 feet long and 2 feet wide, with clear parallel lines extending to the edge of the leaves from a central rib. The delicious fruit of the banana plant is 75% water, and contains sugar, potassium and vitamins A and C.

The fruit in general grows in a bunch of 50-150 green fruit, but this special tree is said to have the largest bunch ever which could also be a world record.
