They’re not paintings, you retard.
The concept of the artist including their own utensil in the paintings has been far overdone to the point of cliche in modern works. The inclusion of what could easily by a photograph of a hand holding a utensil or being held by a drawing is nothing spectacular. With that said, the draftsmanship on many of these drawings is impeccable and I really did enjoy the painting of the old man pouring a glass for its realization of the creative process.
hey instead of trying to be a some kinda of genius d**k y not say what you mean? instead of some long winded, pompous excerpt that makes your opinion sound like you may have read it from some text book or even worse….Wikipedia….Make sure you cite your sources!! not to say intelligence isn’t cool but it just dosent sound like something you would say to this guy if he was like “Hey, what you think?” Your compliment at the end did almost make you sound….acute or dare i say perspicacious…
creativity at it’s best except it’s the same (unoriginal) concept done over and over again.
what?? there’s nothing arrogant about what he said… it’s a brief and well expressed critique, which is exactly what these posts are for. as far as i’m concerned there are some great thoughts in that post, whereas yours accuses the poster of being “some kind of genius d**ck”?? “cite your sources”?? it sounds like you haven’t gotten out of jr. high…
Apparently there is a lot of hostility on here?
Aside, I enjoyed the works of art. It’s always good to see something fresh and well done.
I enjoyed these drawings. Very Creative. The best I have ever seen anyway.
wow… MC Escher eat your heart out!
i liked the chef and the dog one. that was pretty cool.
I agree with Matheiu. Hand drawing chain & ball has been done so many times it might as well be ‘dogs playing poker’.
The technique may be impeccable, but the subject is a snooze.
Boring! Oh, and Escher invented the technique, so he’s not eating anything but your lunch.
Tough crowd! To deride this young man’s art as derivitive is too easy a shot. All artists are influenced just as they always have been. This artist is taking his work in directions away from Esher even while celebrating an obvious facination with the great master’s work. Well done!
great pics, always easy to dismiss others art, i liked the them
