Deepika who was born on Jan 5th 1986 has all the reasons to celebrate today. Yes, has she just been a badminton star like her father Prakash Padukone, her birthday would have gone unnoticed. Copenhagen was her place of birth where she just lived only for eleven months before moving along with her parents, Ujjala and Prakash Padukone to Bangalore. Prakash Padukone was a badminton player who made India proud. This motivated Deepika to attempt on badminton and even succeeded representing the state. Similarly, constant encouragements from the near and dear, made her have a passion for fashion. Soon Liril, Close-up and Limca booked her and there was no return.
