The brilliant act of this dog will only make us think that dogs aren’t just man’s best friend. Rex, the 10 year old German cross breed, was with its owner when they found this baby kangaroo lost on a motorway near

What a sweet and beautiful story, God bless the dog who sensed the little one was still alive. I am always amazed at the sensitivity of our animal friends. Thank you for this neat post.
Blessings,

This is a touching and loving story. Look at the bond they have. It is wonderful, that he smelled & adopted the joey.
Dogs are amazing, just more proof they are far superior to cats ;)
Wouldn’t it be funny if the dog was actually intending to eat the joey and was just playing with its food first?
Yeah. I bet that’s what happened.
Dogs have an incredible capacity for sizing up a situation and contributing in their own way. One such dog was Henry, who crossed over the rainbow bridge this year. He dedicated himself to assisting in the care of an autistic young man and brought much joy to his family.
Ok i’m an animal lover but Brandi’s comment is hilarious! and I wouldn’t doubt if it were true! pic 1: he is looking at him pic 2: he is sniffing him & pic 3: he is about to eat lunch!
It is all too easy to “interpret” animal behavior as benevolent and kind when that is what makes us happy to believe. Ever watch a cat play with a mouse before eating it? it’s the same game… If that dog had been hungrier, well… There’d be no joey! And no news story.
