So when you visit Dubai don’t forget this place where you can find the diverse collection of life size dioramas that depict the everyday life of Arabs in the days before the discovery of oil. The porch recreates the scenes from the Creek, traditional Arab houses, mosques, date farms, the souk, desert and marine life.
Dubai Museum is located at Al Fahidi Fort which was built in 1787 and is the oldest existing building in Dubai. It was opened by the Dubai ruler in 1971 who took a proactive approach to exhibit the traditional way of life in UAE.
