Global Warming? Look at this Green Top Building

A building in Singapore has a unique rooftop. People talking of global warming must attempt to have these kind of buildings so that they not only use the ground, but also facilitate greenery. Yes, this building has a green top. Painted, no! Made of grass. Yes, grass is grown on the top of the building.

Nayang Technological University proudly displays this building which accommodates School of Art, Design and Media. In one direction, it looks like a single story building. Actually it is a five story one.

From the top it merely looks an open park with lush green landscapes. A perfect place for an evening gathering. What is so great about this? Yes, it insulates the building and provides a better ambience inside. Hope everyone attempts this kind of contribution to the Mother Nature.

Very cool. Ancient technology, finally being utilized on a large scale. Probably costs half the usual or better to heat and cool the place.
