Shakesphere became his favourite when most of his friends were playing hide and seek. What else, started attending school at 5 and one year down the line, he was teaching Maths and English. Parents on their part were amused to see the rare ability in this child and have started encouraging him by all means.

In a country of 1 billion population, there are people with different financial status. A family which was relatively poor had a child whose fingers were damaged in a fire accident. The first aid and treatments could make the child recover from the burn injuries, but could not help her get the originality. Two fingers were glued together and the treatment needed money to doctors as well as the medicines. The poverty didn’t allow this. Then came this prodigy, Akrit. The parents of the girl came across the rare abilities of Akrit and his interest in medicine. Their willingness to let the girl under the knife of Akrit was true a bold decision.

Akrit, did accept the offer and finally the operation was successful and he made headlines at the age of seven. His itinerary in later days was dominated by visits to and by professors. He was also invited to Imperial College, London to share his views on the medical developments.

Today, at 13, Akrit, the youngest student is waiting to complete his graduation in Zoology, Botony and Chemistry and is keen to enter Havards as well as find cure for cancer. Let’s pray for his dreams to come true.
