Aircel rolls out a new E-mail handset ‘Peek’, which can be used only for sending and receiving e-mails. This new handset gives a pretty stylish look with a slim design where only e-mails are allowed but no calls can be made.
Peek boasts a 2.5-inch QVGA touch screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, a full QWERTY keyboard helps you to manage three e-mail accounts from any of the top service providers such as Google, Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL etc. Users can send or receive mails with attachments of upto 10MB in any of the Word, PDF, Excel formats and even has support for Microsoft Exchange. The battery of the device provides a long life of upto three days only with a single charge.
The Peek is provided with both post-paid and pre-paid plans. Users will get unlimited email service for 90 days at Rs.897 on both prepaid and postpaid services after that a rental of Rs.299 per month will be charged for postpaid and for prepaid service a recharge with Rs. 299 will help you for 30 days and Rs. 89 for 7 days.
Aircel Peek will be available in two colors – black and red at a price of Rs. 2,999.
