Asus launches O!Play HD Media Player

The availability of the Asus O!Play HDP-R1 1080p media player has been announced after a long time of its previous announcement. The media player is capable of streaming videos with 1080p resolution.

The media streamer works supporting the file formats such as MP3, MPG, DivX, Xvid, MKV, FLAC, AAC and offers compatibility including VC-1, H.264, MPEG1/2/4 and RM/RMVB varying codes. The player offers playback of all the content of local network or internet through USB 2.0, eSATA, or wired ethernet port connectivity.

The HDP-R1’s AV connections are HDMI, optical digital audio and composite audio/video. It also has bit stream ability or decode Dolby Digital and DTS Surround audio and is facilitated with a full remote control and friendly GUI.

The Asus O!Play HDP-R1 media player is available in US till date and is tagged at a price of $99.99(approx. Rs. 4,766).
