Canon recently introduced EOS 7D digital SLR. It is an all in one camera for semi-pros, and has more features than canon EOS 5D.
The Canon EOS 7D can shoot up to 8 RAW frames per second or 128 Jpeg images continuously and has an ISO setting of 6,400 and expandable up to 12,800, which can be done by invoking custom menu’s of the camera. It thereby features a 18MP APS-C CMOS sensor, a 19-point focus system and is first to introduce a Dual-Axis Electronic Level which helps the photographer to shoot a level horizon when capturing a landscape, can be used in combination with Tilt and Shift lens to level the camera.
It sports a 3-inch LCD screen with 920,000 dots, an integrated flash with wireless flash control that can be set accordingly and has itself a startup time around 0.2 seconds. Shoots full HD video at 1,920 x 1,080 resolution and 30 frames per second and includes 1.0x magnification and 100% coverage viewfinder. In addition to this frame rate option was added.
The Canon EOS 7D will go on sale at the end of September for £1,999 and an EF 28-135mm lens kit will be around £200.
