Canon Introduces Powershot A2100 IS Digital Camera

Canon introduces a new digital camera ‘Canon Powershot A2100 IS’ in A-series. It comes with 12.1 Megapixels and 6x optical zoom and newly designed with slim and stylish look which comes in classic black design.

The camera is fitted with latest DIGIC 4 image processor making the camera deliver fast, responsive operation and produces images with a wonderful quality. The combination of the 6x optical zoom and its 12.1 MP helps you in enlarging or cropping images creatively along with good image quality. It holds the feature of Optical Image Stabilizer Technology which avoids blurring occurred due to camera shake.

It also featured with Motion Detection and Face Detection Technology, letting the camera to improve performance with the help of DIGIC 4 processor. Coming into the Motion Detection Technology, it avoids blur occurred due to camera shake and adjusting settings to compensate. The Face Detection Technology detects upto 35 faces in a frame and makes everyone in the image to look best with its automatically adjust key focus and exposure settings. The Canon’s i-contrast helps users to capture photos even in darker areas.

The camera is build with two automatics modes namely Smart Auto mode and improved Easy mode. They use Canon’s Scene Detection Technology allowing you to select one from 18 possible modes to give certain optimum results for every scene. There are wide range of shooting modes available in the product, like dedicated Indoor and Kids and Pets mode which thereby take care of all technical aspects. The camera is even capable of producing high-quality movies and captures 30 frames per second for smooth results.

Moving into the camera’s hardware details, it supports SD, SDHC, MMC along MMCplus, HC MMCplus memory card formats which is a new addition. It moreover supports 26 languages. They even feature a dedicated print menu for quick access to direct print options. Users can print Images directly without the help of a PC as the camera is supported by PictBridge.

The Canon Powershot A2100 wil be available at a price of $250 (approx.Rs. 12,500).
