Dell Launches Inspiron One 19 and Studio 17 Touch-screen Systems

Dell unleashes two new user friendly multi-touch PCs designed for those people waiting for this new experience of touchscreen PCs. The ‘Inspiron One 19’ desktop and ‘Studio 17’ laptop are the first of the manufacturers PCs coming with multi-touch hardware that recognizes upto four fingers with multiple simultaneous touches such as drag, pinch, flick and rotate.

Inspiron One 19 :

Looking into the features of Dell’s Inspiron One 19 desktop it measures 386 x 477 x 103mm and weighs 7.3kg. The new desktop comes with a 19-inch HD wide touchscreen display, Wi-Fi capability, Webcam, DVD drive. It includes 3GB of DDR2 RAM and a 640GB HDD storage, provides a choice of Intel Celeron 450 or Core 2 Duo E5300 CPUs and a power adapter.

Studio 17 :

The Studio 17 laptop from is also a handy one with 17.3-inch HD touchscreen display and features JBL branded audio hardware. It comes with 8GB RAM, 1TB of HDD storage, choice of a Core i7 CPU and a Blu-ray drive. The Studio 17 is provided with a Radeon HD 4650 chip which mainly aims at multimedia more than gaming.

The Dell Inspiron One 19 desktop is available at a price of £499 and the Studio 17 availability and pricing details are yet to be confirmed.
