Facebook, one of the top most social networking sites has come to set up its first Asian office in Hyderabad, the Southern city of India where more number of multinational companies are present. Out of 400 million users of Facebook all around the globe, 8 million users are in India which is something interesting to hear and probably might be the reason to launch its office in our country leaving other countries in this huge continent.
Initiating with a small team in Hyderabad it includes experts on Facebook product to supports users, online advertisers in India and will supplement operations supported out of California, Palo Alto, Dublin, Ireland and upcoming office in Austin, Texas.
The company is seeking its expansion globally as seventy percent of the people Facebook users are outside U.S and hopes that it can provide multilingual support with support centers all around the world so it started setting up companies worldwide. Last week the company has also announced the launch of its office in Austin, Texas along with Hyderabad indicating its plan for expanding worldwide.
Let’s hope this launch may come good to the company and to the graduates across India as it may create some job opportunities.
