Goggles – Search Simply by Snapping a Photo

Google introduced an impressive search application for android 1.6 and above phones (i.e. Donut or Eclair). Google is perfectly brilliant to understand what the mobile users want.

Basically, a search engine is a program that searches for websites based on the words but now the Google reveals a new amazing search tool for android phones called ‘Goggles’, lets the android user search simply by snapping a photo. Then Goggles will analyze the photo and search for the item you snapped.

Goggles currently support photo searching for books, DVDs, landmarks, logos, contact info, artwork, businesses, products and text. Goggles also provide information about businesses near you by displaying their names directly in the camera preview.
