Google’s New Year Countdown Surprise

Google is known to keep in store Easter egg (which means an unexpected surprise that is hard to find) for its users. This year Google has kept a hidden countdown timer on its homepage specifying something special.

This Countdown timer can be found by hitting the ‘I am feeling lucky’ button on your Google homepage without entering any text in the search bar. After doing this immediately you will find a countdown timer ticking the seconds away which is said to be a countdown for the New Year 2010.

When we have tried to view the countdown timer in the Google homepage by clicking I am feeling lucky button, we got the countdown time as 1020300 (11 days) specifying that these many seconds we are away from the new year.
