Google Celebrated 40th Anniversary of Sesame Street

Google has the habit of changing its logo in accordance with the special days and events. Now, Google logo changes with puppets for a week to celebrating the Sesame Street 40th Anniversary.

Sesame Street is an American educational children’s television program, combining both education and entertainment. Sesame Street is widely known for its Muppets characters created by Jim Henson. It is the longest running children’s program on US television.

Sesame Street is presenting with animation, puppets and live actors to improve young children’s minds, improve their letter and word recognition, basic arithmetic, geometric forms, classification, simple problem solving techniques and socialization by showing children or people in their everyday lives.

Its first television performance is on November 10, 1969. So, Sesame Street celebrates its 40th birthday today.
