Honda Unveils P-NUT Concept Car

At the Los Angeles Auto Show 2009, Honda officially presented its new ultra-compact concept i.e., P-NUT (Personal-Neo Urban Transport) which looks like Homer Simpson’s disastrous bubble car. It probably gives us the idea of city cars in future as it is designed to be ideal to use in cities and tight urban areas.

The P-NUT measures 3.49 x 1.75 x 1.44 m (l x b x h), suitable for three passengers to travel in and features a central driving configuration with a rear wheel drive resembling the Smart Fortwo car. As it is a central drive, the front seat is for the driver and the back two seats for two passengers to be seated. It has a rear engine of three versions ordinary engine, hybrid and the electric motor version and the seats can even be folded by increasing the trunk of the car. The central driving seat provides comfort for the person who drives as it gives some room for his legs.
