HP has added two new laptops ‘Envy 14’ and ‘Envy 17’ to the Envy line up. These two laptops differ from the others of Envy line up in two features-the back-lighting keyboard and Magnesium-aluminum alloy made chassis.
Both the laptops sport some common features like they use Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 quad-core Intel processors and comes with onboard ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5830 discrete graphics. The notebook coms with a mini DisplayPort connector, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HP TrueVision HD webcam andslot-optical drive. Beats Audio is another common feature which provides optimal audio experience when music is played through headphones or external speakers connected to the laptop.
Apart from those Envy 14 features a 14.5-inch diagonal HD Radiance display with a brightness of 59 percent more than the standard display of other notebooks and offers WWAN/3G connectivity for surfing the internet. The laptop offers six hours of battery life.
On the other side Envy 17 features ATI’s multi-monitor Eyefinity technology for optimum performance, Hp Triple Bas Reflex Subwoofer and a storage capacity of 2TB hard disk drive provided and has options for Blu-ray drive.
The Envy 14 will be available at a price of $1000 approx. Rs. 44,919 and Envy 17 is priced at $1,400 approx. Rs. 62,882.
