INQ to Launch Unlocked Phones in India

Social networking handset manufacturer INQ introduced two unlock phones named ‘INQ Mini 3G’ and ‘INQ Chat 3G’. Previously in the month of March the company released Mini 3G and Chat 3G which were locked i.e., these handsets work in India only with a Aircel network. But the newly launched phones are unlocked i.e., you can use any network of your choice. The INQ earlier got most prestigious ‘phone of the year award’ at GSMA event in Barcelona last year with its Facebook phone and with the increase in demand for Facebook phones in India has rose to the launch of unlocked phones in the country by the company.

Both the Mini and Chat are multimedia handsets, attain support for WMP and iTunes synchronization, have access to all social networking sites and instant messaging clients, Internet browser and Skype support. But the only difference between both the mobiles is, the Chat boasts a QWERTY keyboard for easy texting and the Mini comes with a normal keypad.

The INQ Mini 3G will be available all over the country at a price of Rs. 5.349 except for Maharashtra where the price is Rs. 5,599. The INQ Chat 3G will be little more expensive as it will be sold at a price of Rs. 7,549 and in Maharashtra it is Rs.7,999.
