Have you ever seen smallest digital cam which is just of a size smaller than that of an eraser?? If you haven’t then here is the world’s smallest digital camera “Chobi Cam” from Japan Trust Technologies.
The Chobi Cam measures 1.7 x 1.1 x 0.5 inches and weighs approximately 14grams. The Cam supports a microSD/SDHC card for storage of photos and videos captured. It shoots at a resolution of 2048 x 1536 and stored them in JPEG file format, the videos will be captured with a resolution of 1280 x 960 at 30frames pr second and stores in AVI format. The start time for the camera is only 5 seconds. It can also be used as voice recorder and can record voice up to 50minutes. It comes with a regular external charger suitable to a regular outlet and also a USB 2.0 is provided which can be used for transferring photos and videos from cam to PC as well as for charging the camera.


The world’s smallest camera ‘Chobi Cam’ can be bought at a price of around $148. Not sure about its availability in other parts of the world but will be available to people of Japan via Japanese JTT website.
