‘MapmyIndia’ together with ‘GPS navigation solutions’, launched a GPS navigator tagged ‘Road Pilot’.The Road pilot has 3.5-inch wide touch screen and comes pre-loaded with 576,000 towns and villages, 620 cities offering turn-by-turn directions street level, 2million unique destinations, 30,000 tourist locations of India. The gadget does not need any GPRS connetion or SIM card to work with, it just takes the help of GPS signals to work and also has unique powering saving feature-snooze.
The device has a sleep mode to off the device when not in use and it immediately starts working whenever user requires it to. It even is preloaded with maps of 125 tourist cities along with all the information about ATMs, hotels, petrol pumps and places for eatables. With another feature named Geopix user will be able to see, import geo-tagged photographs on the map at places while crossing and even search for the nearest Geopix.
The Road Pilot GPS navigator will be available at a price of around Rs. 7,990.
