Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch a new car ‘Kizashi’, into the Indian market by the end of 2010. Kizashi costing more than a 10 lakhs is one of the luxury cars released this year and will be competing with the other luxury cars like Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, Volkswagen Jetta, Skoda Octavia and Hyundai Sonata.
The car is equipped with 2.4 litre Euro IV Engine producing 138kW and 231Nm torque, CVT (continually variable transmission), 6 speed manual transmissions and a technology along with paddle shift. The Kizashi is Maruti Suzuki’s first entry into all-wheel-drive sport sedan segment.
Suzuki Kizashi will be launched in Australia this May and in India by the end of this year at a price ranging from 10 to 13 lakhs.
