MetroPCs Brings Out Samsung Caliber SCH-r860 Touchscreen Phone

Samsung along with MobileCarrier MetroPCs brings out new ‘Samsung Caliber SCH-r860’, which is yet another User Interface Touchwiz mobile phone from the company.

The Caliber measures 2.2 x 4.5 x 0.47 inches and weighs 106.3gms and sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels, 3MP camera, GPS –receiver, Bluetooth connectivity and support for social networking sites like MySpace, Facebook and a full HTML browser. The mobile has a memory card slot which provides support for upto16GB, has a 3.7V Lithium-Ion 1080mAH battery providing a talktime of 4.5 hours and a standby time of 300 hours. It has a support for standard networks like CDMA 1×800 MHz/1900 MHz, EVDO Rev 0, AWS Band 1700/2100 MHz.

Predefined camera applications like MetroNavigator GPS navigation system, MetroWEB, Metro 411 Directory Assistance and other applications like Alarm Clock, Converters, Calendar, Calculator etc are included in the phone. The mobile phone will be available at a price of $249.
