Nokia together with T-Mobile, USA announces the availability of ‘Nokia 5230 Nuron’, a Symbian Series smartphone.
Nokia 5230 is a 3.2-inch, 640 x 360 pixels, plastic resistive touch screen mobile phone which measures 4.4 x 2.0 x 0.6 inches and weighs 116gms. The mobile sports a 2.0 megapixel camera which can capture videos at 30fps( frames per second) with 3x digital zoom , a software QWERTY keypad, 3.5mm audio jack, a 2.5 mm Nokia AV connector and 70MB of internal memory. The phone has a microSD slot with a memory support of upto 16GB and even has FM Radio. Nokia Nuron comes pre-loaded with OVI store thereby giving access to thousands of apps and games, OVI Maps with turn by turn, voice enabled GPS directions.
The Nuron 5230 claims a support for WCDMA 1700-2100/2100 bands, GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900. The Nokia 5230 Nuron will be available with a two year T-Mobile contract at a cost price of $69.99.
