Have you ever thought of using self charging mobile phone without needing any charger to charge its battery? If you had, then thank Nokia for developing a self charging mobile phone that doesn’t require any charger to charge it.
Experts at Nokia held the credit for all this innovative mobile phone which charges simply with the help of movements and motions occurred while using it. For this, the mobile is said to use heavier components like radio transmitter circuit and battery. The set is supported on a strong frame.
A mechanism named ‘Rail Mechanism’ is equipped in the phone which permits the moving of set horizontally up and down as well as side wise. Strips of piezoelectric crystals are provided at the end of these rails, with which whenever the crystals are compressed by the frame, it would result in production of electricity by the phone or user’s movement. The energy produced thereby will be stored in a capacitor and is set for use in running the handset.
