Nokia 2690 is the new handset launched by the company into the Indian market targeting the masses who prefer to use low price mobiles.

The handset features a 1.2-inch screen with 128 x 160 pixels resolution, an internal VGA camera with video recording capability at 15 fps, 176 x 144 pixel resolution, MP3 player and supports Quad and EGSM 850/900/1800/1900 network. It has support for microSD memory card expandable up to 8GB, Stereo FM Radio, 3.5 mm AV connector, micro USB connector. Bluetooth, EDGE and GPRS connectivity and the phone runs on S40 operating system.
The BL-4C 860 mAh Li-ion battery of the phone provides 335 hours standby time and a talktime of 70mins on GSM networks. The handset weighs around 80.7 gms and will be available in four different colors namely Graphite, Blue, Hot pink and White silver. The Nokia 2690 will be available in the Indain market at a price of Rs.2740.
