Nokia Launches 6700, 7230 New Handsets in India

Nokia unveils two new 3G enable slider mobile phones in India named ‘Nokia 6700’ and ‘Nokia 7230’. These handsets from Nokia may mostly attract youth as they sport a stylish and fresh look and faster access to all Social Networking Sites.

Nokia 6700:

The Nokia 6700 is a slider phone featuring a 2.2-inch 320 x 240pixel resolution QVGA display, 5megapixel camera with dual LED flash, Carl Zeiss lens and boasts a stylish look with aluminium finish measuring 96 x 46x 16mm, weighing 110gms. The other features of the phone include music player, FM Radio, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivities. The phone provides support for a microSD card which can thereby be expandable upto 16GB. The battery of the phone provides a talktime of 3hours, standby time of 300 hours and music backup of 29 hours. The Nokia 6700 will be available in six colors namely purple, pink, lime, aluminium grey, petrol blue and red and comes with a price tag of Rs. 11,500 in India.

Nokia 7230:

The Nokia 7230 is also a slider phone with a 2.4-inch 320 x 240 pixels resolution TFT display, 3.2 megapixel camera with dedicated camera key and 4x digital zoom. With fast 3G access facility of the phone, users can share their photos and videos at Facebook, Flickr and Ovi. The other features of the phone are Built-in Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging, FM Radio, Bluetooth connectivity, missed call alerts and a USB 2.0 is provided for file transfer to your PC from the phone. The battery of the phone offers standby time of 14.3 days and talktime of 4.1 hours. The phone has support for microSD card with a slot provided and chips in with 2GB free memory card. The Nokia 7230 will be available in graphite black and hot pink colors at a price of Rs. 7,000 in India.
