Philips Activa MP3 player Activates with Tempo Technology

Philips unveils a new MP3 player named ‘Philips Activa MP3 player’ developed with an active features.The player uses music tempo technology which automatically selects and plays the song matching your pace of workout helping active gym folks. It even provides the facility of delivering voice prompts when you lag behind by measuring your progress with the help of an accelerometer and motivates you to do better. It simply acts like a digital coach who plays fast music while you are moving fast; when you slow down a bit it tells you to do better by producing voice reports on your performance and plays motivating slogans until you get back into rhythm.

You can also choose and play your favorite songs. The device is small but very attractive and comes with 4GB of storage capacity, sports headphones, a cable clip manager and a protective pouch.

The Philips Activa MP3 Player is said to be available worldwide in April this year with a price tag of around $129.99.
