Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar who entered in to International cricket on 15 November, 1989 at a young age of 16 years had achieved so much which one had achieved in a whole long of 120 years of cricket history. He is a cricketer who can be seen only once in a life time with so many achievements and records in his name in the history of cricket and would remain the God of cricket forever and ever.
He with his calm going character keeps himself cool and gives answers only with his bat to the people who comments on his batting. Young cricketers and even common people had to learn a lot from him and his hard work and take him as an inspiration and work hard for achieving their goals. As a cricketer he worked very hard for all his achievements all this 20 years and even suffered a lot of injuries out of which tennis elbow injury is the one that made him to suffer a lot, but he bounced back very well inspite of all the injuries he had suffered. Recently, in the semi-final against Royal Challengers of IPL3 he had suffered an injury to his right hand which attempting for Rahul Dravid’s catch. He works hard for his fitness and is fitter than his age which can be seen on the field both in his batting and fielding.
Sachin is getting better and better with his age, the world record of highest individual ODI score of 200* recently made by Sachin and becoming the highest run getter in IPL3 2010 shows his thirst for getting runs and charisma left in his batting even at the ending stage of his career. He maintains a good atmosphere in the dressing room and encourages each and every player. Sachin Tendulkar is an enthusiastic cricketer and has proved himself the best in all versions of the game.

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar was born on April 24, 1973 in Bombay, India to the blessed couple Ramesh Tendulkar and Savitai Tendulkar. He Was haded first cricket bat at the age of 11. Sachin’s dream is to become a fast bowler which lead him to make trails at MRF pace academy but his height proved to be a problem for his dream. Tendulkar’s first step towards cricket was when he was introduced to a cricket coach Mr. R. Achrekar by his brother Ajit Tendulkar where he failed proving himself due to nervousness but due to his brother’s persuasion he was given another chance. In a match of inter-school tournament in 1988 Sachin played for his school named Shardashram School, he with his best buddy Vinod Kambli got a World Record partnership of 664 runs in which he scored 326*. He gives very much importance to God in his life and visits temples during night when it is cool and calm. He believes in the concepts of re-birth, Hell and Heaven. He is a devotee of Sai Baba, Ganapathi and loves celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi at home with his family. When he was 14 Sunil Gavaskar presented his own ultra light pads as an encouragement for him. He married Anjali, daughter of Gujarati industrialist Anand Mehta on 24 May 1995. They have two children Sara born on 12 October, 1997 and Arjun born on 24 September, 1999.

Involved in World Record 664-run partnership with Vinod Kambli in a Lord Harris Sield inter-school game in 1988.
Only player to score century on first-class debut and centuries in debuts of Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy and Irani Trophy.
Made his test debut against Pakistan in 1989 and is third youngest Test debutant (16y 205d) besides Mushtaq Mohammad(15y 124d) and Aaqib Javed(16y 189d).
Third youngest ODI debutant besides Hasan Raza and Mohammad Sharif.
Scored first Test century in 1990 against England and was the second youngest player to score a century.
Opened batting for India first time against New Zealand in 1994.
Scored first ODI century on 9th September, 1994 against Australia in a Tri-series in Srilanka. He reached there after 79ODIs.
At the age of 23 in August 1996 he was provided captaincy to lead the Indian team which did not turned out to be a good one for him.
Leading run scorer in 1996 World Cup.
He got his career best bowling figures 32 for 5 against Australia dismissing Michael Bevan, Steve Waugh, Darren Lehmann, Tom Moody and Damien Martyn.
Won the ICC 1998 quarter final single handedly against Australia and made for semifinals.
While he is in England in 1999 Cricket World Cup his father Ramesh Tendulkar died in the middle. He flew back to India missing Zimbabwe match to attend final rituals of his father. When he returned he scored 140* of 101 balls against Kenya and dedicated that century to his father.
Resigned captaincy of the Indian team in 2000.
Announced Man of the Tournament in 2003 Cricket World Cup, for scoring 673 runs in 11 matches.
He was out of the side for almost a year with Tennis Elbow injury.
He has beaten Sunil Gavaskar’s record of 34 test centuries on 10th December 2005 against Sri Lanka at Feroz Shah Kotla, recording his 35th test century.
Scored 39th ODI century on 6th February 2006 against Pakistan.
On 14th September, 2006 he scored his 40th ODI ton against West Indies.
On 28th July 2007 he became the third cricketer to complete 11,000 Test runs.
Was dismissed 23 times in between 90 to 100 runs.
He scored 16,000 runs in ODI on 5th February 2008 at Brisbane against Sri Lankain a Tri-series including Australia and Sri Lanka.
Brian Lara’s record of 11,953 runs was re-written by Sachin against Australia and has reached 12,000 run mark in that match.
Got to 45th ODI century against Australia scoring 175 which is probably his best score against Australia.
He also reached to 17,000 ODI run mark in that match against Australia.
In 2010 against South Africa he scored his 47th Test ton.
In the following ODI series against South Africa he scored his 46th ODI ton and the World record individual score by any batsman 200* on 24th February, 2010 crossing Saeed Anwar 194 and Charles Coventry 194* of Zimbabwe.
He scored 93 centuries( ODI and Tests).
One and only first player to reach 10,000-11,000-12,000-13,000-14,000-15,000, 16,000 and 17,000 ODI runs.
Most runs scored in ODIs 17, 598 at an average of 45.12.
