Samsung India’s First 8 MP Touch Phone Launched

Samsung India Private Limited launched a latest India’s first touch screen cell phone “Pixon M8800” with the following features.

  • 3.2 large full touch screen supported by Samsung touch WIZ interface for Tap, Sweep, Drag, and Drop operations including with home screen widgets, weather information, Google search etc.
  • Provided with camera of 8 mega pixels with maximum image resolution of 3264x 2448, auto focus, face recognition, wide dynamic range, Advance shake reduction, GPS geo-tagging support and WSCGA and VGA video recoding at 30 fps.
  • Come with 3 G capable Pixon on screen Qwerty Key Board and on screen hand writing recognition for E- mailing, messaging and other inputs.
  • The phone also supports video player formats including DIVX, XVID, MP 4 and also an advanced Music Player with SRS surround sound.
  • Pre loaded with games like Brain Challenge, Diamond Twister and Millionaire-3.The users of the phone can also play tumbling dice game by shaking the hand set.
  • It also support for both HSDPA high speed Internet with 7.2 down load speed and UMTS capability.

The makers announced that the users of this phone can experience full multimedia entertainment on their mobile phone simply with touch of a finger. The set is priced at Rs 28,750.
