Samsung launches two new CDMA mobiles ‘Corby TV’ and ‘Metro TV’ into the Indian market which comes with first ever integrated broadband MimobiTV, a mobile TV application in India.
Samsung Corby TV:
Samsung Corby Tv features a 2.8 inch TFT touch screen with 256k colors QVGA resolution, 2megapixel camera which can take images and shoot videos at 15frames per second carrying a smile detection feature. The phone is 3G enabled supporting HDSPA 3.6Mbps data network and even has support for EVDO. The interesting of the phone is, it is equipped with a Mimobi mobile Tv application which allows you to go through 40 channels on the move. Some other features of the phone include FM radio, Bluetooth, easy access to top most social networking sites, Photocall entries and 1000 phone book contacts. It comes with an internal memory of 50MB and a microSD memory card slot offering support upto 8GB of memory. The Samsung Corby TV will be available at a cost of Rs. 9699.
Samsung Metro TV:
Samsung Metro TV has a 2.0 inch TFT non touch screen display, 2megapixel camera with video recording capability. It also features a Mimobi mobile TV application, has access to top social networking sites and Google Maps. The other features of the phone are Bluetooth, mobile tracker, FM Radio, 1000 phonebook contacts, Photocall entries and supports 9 regional languages of India. It has a support for microSD card slot which can be expandable upto 8GB. The Samsung Metro TV will be available at a price of Rs. 6999.
