Samsung announces the launch of its new mobile phone in India ‘Jet2’, second one in Jet series after Jet S8000 launched last year. The software updates and the hardware of the two phones look alike.
The mobile features a 3.1-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera, 3D interface, offers support for TouchWiz 2.0 User Interface, Wi-Fi and GPS and provides DNSe and SRS Sound Effect technology. The handset has Dolphin browser for web browsing, also supports Java based browsers like Opera Mini, runs on 800MHz processor and even supports. One finger zoom is a special feature provided with the phone which will be helpful while browsing and viewing photos or .TXT, PDF and PPT files.
Some other features included in the handset are world clock, stop watch, calculator, alarm etc. It includes 2048 MB of internal phone memory with its battery providing 8hours of talktime.
Samsung Jet2 is available in India with a price tag of around Rs. 19,500.
