Samsung Metro 3G Launched In India at Rs.8250

Focusing on the availability of 3G supported handsets in India, Samsung introduces a new mobile tagged Metro 3G into the market. The phone looks good and attracts you with metallic exterior design.

The Metro 3G supports GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and HSDPA 900 / 2100 networks and sports exciting features like 3.2 megapixel camera with smile detection, Panorama shot technology and facilitates video calling at 15 fps with the help of a secondary QVGA camera available. The phone measures 115.2 x 46.7 x 11.9 mm and weighs 99.2 gm. With 3G HDSPA 3.6 Mbps speed the mobile allows you to access different social networking site such as Flickr, Facebook, YouTube, Photobucket etc and comes preloaded with Google apps and chat messenger with a support for AIM, GTalk and Palringo chats.

The mobile boasts Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP providing wireless connectivity to headsets, mobile, PC devices and printers, FM Radio, USB connectivity and EDGE/GPRS. The phone comes with 105MB of internal memory which can thereby be extended up to 16GB with a microSD memory card slot provided. The 900 mAH battery of the phone provides a talktime of 10 hours and 18 days of standby time. It has MP3/WAV/eAAC+/WMA, MP4/H.264/H.263/WMV music players and also some multimedia features.

The Samsung Metro 3G will be available at a price of Rs. 8250.
