Samsung Wave Officially Available in Europe

Samsung Wave is the new Smartphone available in the European markets and is probably the first Smartphone to run on the company’s own Bada Operating System which provides social networking, a, integrated contacts, push calendar, unified inbox and its own app store.

The specifications of the Wave include a 3.3-inch Super AMOLED WVGA touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels produces five times better image quality than the normal AMOLED screen, measures 4.65 x 2.21 x 0.43 inches, 5megapixel camera with HD video recording, Quad-band GSM, HSDPA, latest Wi-Fi 802.11n that is very fast than the Wi-Fi devices used these days , first phone to come with Bluetooth 3.0 and runs on 1GHz processor. It boasts a virtual QWERTY keypad, has support for microSD card slot expandable upto 32GB, and comes with a USB and 3.5mm audio jack. The engine called Social Hub included in the phone integrates social networking services, e-mailing and instant messaging.

The Samsung Wave will be available in countries like Germany, France, UK, and also planning to bring the phone to China, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. But the price of the Smartphone is yet to be announced.
