The touchscreen slider phone ‘Aino’ from Sony Ericsson has got its second firmware update. The update includes better battery performance, software stability, improved WLAN/Bluetooth connectivity and compatibility with a wider range of videos codecs (MIME-type of MPEG4-generic). It is also bundled with three new themes and games like Bubble Town 2 and 3.
The Aino is a multimedia rich slider phone with touchscreen, 8megapixel camera, Remote Play with Playstation 3, PlayTV service support and was launched in June, 2009. The first firmware update of the phone, based on battery consumption was released in December last year. Now to improve the performance of the phone the firm has released its second firmware update.
