Actually when the symbol got approved by the Indian Government on July 15, many experts felt that it is difficult to put the symbol on the computer but after the launch of a downloadable font by Foradian Technologies, it became possible to include the symbol on a computer keyboard.
With a dedicated rupee symbol key on the keyword TVS Gold Bharat has become the first company to unveil a keyboard with this sign. TVS dedicated this development to the nation on the event of the country’s 64th Independence Day. The TVS Gold Bharat Keyboard measures 490 x 180 x 20 mm, has 60 + 15 cN light touch operating force, the key tops are wear resistant and are engraved by laser. The keyboard has long life mechanical switch upto 50million keystrokes, is compatible with Windows and Linux, highly reliable at 200,000 hours mean time between failures operates at a voltage of 5v.
