A new instant messaging software “Windows Live Messenger 2011”, is to be revealed from Microsoft at the end of this summer, with a pride for Video conferencing and social networking. The company described the messenger as “More live, more social, more web”.
The Live Messenger 2011 sports a new size chat window along with dashboard, contacts located on the right of the chat window and digest of their activities on social networking sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn etc on the left side. The messenger facilitates users, interacting with their contacts directly from chat window with the help of automatic connection to quarantine network social partners. There have been no drastic changes from the previous version Live Messenger 2009 but inclusion of some tabs for managing multiple conversations from one window, video conferencing in HD format and 16/9 have bring in the difference.
Protection of information is ensured as Microsoft has added a control panel to manage the sharing of information in detail. Leaving video messages to contacts which are outside connections and sharing of content in real time is allowed in this messenger.
