Youtube Hits 1 Billion Views Per Day

It is a great time to experience, the wonderful moment heartfully for the founders of the YouTube for serving more than 1billion video views per day. This milestone was achieved in a time span of just 57 months. A celebratory logo has also been put up on the YouTube website today to mark the milestone.

YouTube was launched in February 2005, which quickly emerged as a popular video sharing site on the internet. Actually Google had bought the site for 1.65billion US dollars in shares three years ago in October 2006. A large, nearly 20 hours of video is loaded on to the YouTube per minute or 42 million video streams per hour or 700,000 per minute, which is equivalent of 134,000 full-length films released by Hollywood every week.
