This bridge is indead in Malaysia. As for wanting more info…

The Langkawi sky-bridge in Malaysia is suspended at 700 metres above sea level and spans 125 across the mountains, offering magnificent views of the Andaman Sea and Thailand’s Tarutao Island. It’s set apart from other bridges by its curves that provide different perspectives of the landscapes. Here’s one of the most spectacular bridges in the world that delivers quite a pump of adrenaline.

Is anyone else as sick of those idiots who cry “Photoshopped” at every breathtaking photo as I am?

This structure does exist. You can look it up on Google Sightseeing for details plus the satellite Google photo.

Go to http://googlesightseeing.com/2008/05/21/langkawi-sky-bridge/ for details about the bridge and click on the Langkawi Sky Bridge link in the first sentence for the Google Map photo.

To all the people crying about people saying it’s Photoshopped, please catch up on current running Internet jokes. It is common practice to say something is photoshopped, indeed knowing it is not.

Please, have a sense of humor…

I am not crying about it, I just find it extremely annoying, whether it is meant to be a joke or not. And not everyone who says it is joking – some people are just idiots.

Sundial Bridge said,

Similar construction to the Sundial bridge in Redding. this is also a suspension bridge. Redding used glass plates for the walkway (and is straight not curved)

No it was GIMPED.
If you have to ask you don’t deserve to know

David Izdepski said,

June 7, 2008 @ 5:16 am

Looks scary but very cool.

Yang said,

June 7, 2008 @ 7:33 am

I was there last year. It was really breathtaking.

Scarcely said,

June 7, 2008 @ 10:30 am

Scarce, it’s not GIMPed. These photos have clearly had vector tubes added to them (GIMP does not support vector tubes) and the fourth and fifth images are HDR images that have been rendered in Photoshop CS3. You can argue that being open source, one can do anything with GIMP but that’s a bit like telling people to use the force. Photoshop has built-in HDR tools and handles RAW images better than GIMP.

The bridge doesn’t exist, this is a hoax. The mountainsides in the background are of Ile de la Réunion.

Meme Shannon said,

The shrub life coloring the mountain tops are common in Malaysia, called Ixora. The plants are actually one organism with a vast root system which comprises 7% of the Malaysian rain forest. More on Ixora:
