Tirumala Venkateswara Temple and its Ethnic Sculptures

Tirumala Sri Venkateswara also known as Balaji “The Lord of Seven Hills” is famous all over the country. The Balaji temple has a historic shrine and is located at Tirumala, a hill-town at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. Tirumala is dedicated to Lord Vishnu as ‘Venkateswara’ that attracts the Hindus in wide range and is the most visited religious place in the world. This temple is the world’s richest in terms of wealth as the pilgrims offer lot of valuable gifts to the God. 60,000 pilgrims visit this temple on an average, but during special ocassions it may even cross 200,000 per day.
